Who are we?

Rick Edwards is a lifelong entrepreneur, sales leader, and business developer in the home improvement and roofing industry with decades of hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, direct sales, operations, and dealership development.  

Raised in a structured family remodeling business that completed hundreds of projects annually, Rick developed an early understanding of systems, customer service, marketing, and large-scale production. By his teenage years, he was already working in roofing and home improvements, gaining firsthand experience in installation, customer interaction, and business operations.  Rick later became part of one of the nation’s most successful home improvement organizations, where he mastered in-home sales, marketing psychology, and business growth strategies. 

During his career, he helped build multimillion-dollar operations, including leadership roles connected to companies producing over $30 million annually and managing hundreds of employees.  Today, Rick is the founder of Rain Dog Roofing™ and Pro Home & Roofing™, where he has developed highly structured systems for residential roofing sales, marketing, administration, production, and customer communication.  His mission is to modernize and professionalize the roofing industry by combining:

Rick is currently leading the national expansion of Rain Dog Roofing™ through the exclusive dealership model designed to help motivated entrepreneurs build profitable, system-driven roofing businesses with strong manufacturer support, proven marketing strategies, and operational guidance.  He is passionate about teaching others what he has learned throughout his career and believes that structured systems, communication, training, and professionalism are the foundation of long-term success in the home improvement industry.
